We have not been to Reata since my husband proposed and that was when they were at their prior location. 12 years later the food is still delicious! I will say the new location is not great and looses some of the romantic vibe. Seems a bit more casual than before. Hopefully they move into a new building soon! The staff was welcoming and our waitress was great! We started off with an old fashioned and an Aperol spritz. My husband chose the cowboy ribeye and it was a perfect medium! This came with a side of asparagus and a roasted type of mashed potatoes and they were the best mashed potatoes I've ever had! So full of flavor. I had the fish of the day which was a swordfish with broccolini and rice! The sauce on the fish was a bacon cream sauce and so flavorful ! We ended our dinner with the chocolate tamale and it was wonderful! Thanks for providing a wonderful anniversary dinner experience!!!!

Literally the best pork chop I've had in my life, and I'm not even kidding. So juice and flavorful in every bite. And the bacon wrapped crab stuffed jalapeño was to die for. Service was A+, everything came out fast. Can't recommend enough!

Came with friends to celebrate an Anniversary. They all had the charbroiled ribeye . And all were very happy with their meals. The steaks were cooked perfectly and they raved about the mashed potatoes. I had the redfish, loved it. Super light and crispy, and the rice was super flavorful too. Desserts were so very good. The waiter, Christian, was very good. Knew his menu that's for sure! Service was quick and friendly, couldn't have asked for anything more. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was how very loud it is . Hard to even hear the people at our table

Husband took me here for my birthday last year and it was amazingly delicious! This has been on my wishlist for a very long time. This place is a little pricey so we don't come here often but when we do I love the service from the front door to the table, the staff is friendly and very professional. The ambiance in the evening is very relaxed with sophisticated dishes. I love this place overall but you do have to make reservations before going so don't forget to make them! And dress nice it's a very beautiful steakhouse in the middle of downtown!

Came here for dinner. Very nice restaurant and good service. Prices were on the higher side but still not bad. I got the tamales for appetizers and the fish special for dinner. The red fish was tasty but kinda salty. The tenderloin tamales were delicious. Very good meal!

It's been years since I last ate at Reata. The restaurant has changed locations, but the attention to detail is still there. Prior to dinner I enjoyed a Birds and the Bees. It's like a Moscow Mule, but with Old Forester bourbon - one of my favorites. Dinner was a feast. More than I could eat actually. I enjoyed the bacon wrapped shrimp and tenderloin tamal as appetizers. For my main course I selected the jalapeno crusted red fish - DELICIOUS. I skipped dessert because I just didn't have room. Tragic in many ways, because I was anxious to give the apple crisp a try. Next time, I guess.

It was orchestra night at the Bass concert Hall, so we basically had to make the best of it and we wanted to see the new location. Kaly was amazing as our server . She did an amazing job, there was only one little issue but she took care of it right away So we ordered dinner and we had the following Elk sausage Pork tamales Jalapeno Cheese Grits And for dessert we had the Pecan Tart The new location while it does not have the outside terrace, was very comfortable. Plenty of seating, you did not feel like you were crowded, and the bar up front was very impressive. The ambiance was nice. Not too dark. And easy to walk around. The establishment was not loud, so that was a big plus In the new location it was still easy to get to all the downtown attractions, parking is a normal downtown Fort Worth parking issues, but this new location is still gray But I recommend this place, absolutely you have to go. Especially the grits. You got to try the grits

A nice fine dining restaurant in downtown Fort Worth. Tex Mex style with lots of history. They do have the patio terrace on second floor. Opt for inside, AC dining. Service was excellent. From the door to the table. The manager and server kept checking on you. As many of the down town establishments, the menu is on the expensive side. Ordered the favorite, Carne Asada with enchilada. Giant portion, Texas style. The whole meat under the cheese almost covered the whole plate. The gave you two giant cheese enchiladas on the top. The bread is very good. The tortilla soup is okay. Overall, very good dining experience.

We had another amazing Reata experience. I ate to many biscuits as usual. They are so good with the herbed butter. The tenderloin was really delicious and I did take half home. We had the best server Scott and received a visit from the manager also named Scott. I was so happy to get another Chance to eat at the Sundance square location once more. The service is really outstanding and the food is delicious. I will be at the new location as soon as it opens. Oh the deserts are incredible I need to start with desert and see if I am still hungry!
